Teachers

A message to whoever is elected governor and to the legislature: no matter what else you may think about our schools, let's make sure that this doesn't happen in Minnesota schools.

Do you actually take this seriously? It is overtly a load of crap. There are so many credible resources, why do you choose to belive this one?

Well, whether it is actually happening is rather irrelevent to the point Guru was making - namely that we should all make sure it does not happen.

It seems rather obvious that the problem, assuming is does exist, is not with the Governor or Legislature (of whatever party) but with that particular school and school district. If you are going to criticize the Governor or Legislature for "allowing" this to happen, you also need to praise them for all the good things that happen in the schools. The praise or blame belongs with the individual schools or school districts.
