Tomorrow is the Friday before the election. Do you know what that means? Something is up. Will the CIA "uncover" a video from bin Laden? Will we catch al Qaeda's latest number three man? Will Bush admit he has been wrong on Iraq from the start (err, scratch that last one).

The verdict in the Saddam Hussein trial is due on Sunday. By coincidence.
I've been waiting for the "Minnesota Horrifyingly Bizarre Last-Minute Midterm Election Twist" that's been happening since 1990. Either it hits in the next few days, or else it happens after the election.
That's one outcome that worries me. The governor's race is so close, a drawn-out recount overseen by Mary Kiffmeyer is a scary possibility.
