O Canada!

This happened yesterday, but I didn't have a chance to comment. You probably already know that Canada legalized gay marriage. Churches can't be forced to perform marriages they don't agree with. That sounds perfectly right to me.

I don't know how i came across this particular entry but Canada hasn't legalized gay and lesbian marriage its still being fought about.

In fact the legislation only started being put in the House of Commons in January. My guess is the day you are talking is about the day they said they would legislate.

Its a free vote except for Cabinet so its important people still work towards it.

Gay marriage IS legal in a number of provinces because of Provincial Supreme Court rulings though, also might have been what you came across.

Glad to see people happy about it!
