The Sue Ek saga

MN Publius is all over this story, so check it out if you want the latest. It looks like things are going from bad to worse for Ek. I'm about to shed a tear.

QUESTIONS ARISING FROM DAN "OX" OCHSNER'S CAMPAIGN POSTERS!

In St. Cloud's senate race, republican Dan Ochsner's core campaign theme is vested on "CENTRAL MINNESOTA'S VOICE OF INTERGRITY". However, his campaign literature and website photos reveal him to be anything but honest.

(1) His literature piece features a campaign rally photo that has clearly been fabricated. Oschner has inserted a picture of him and his wife in the foreground of a picture taken at a Bush/Cheney rally held in St. Cloud during the last presidential election. He has replaced all the Bush/Cheney signs with OX posters making it appear that the rally was for him. The faked rally implies that Oshner has many supporters and generated a crowd at a rally for his campaign when no such rally has taken place. He places this forged picture directly under his claim to be Central Minnesota's Voice of Integrity.

(2) Both his literature and his website prominently display a "family" picture of Oschner and his wife holding a small child. The clear implication is that Oschenr is a family man raising a very cute child - the proverbial All-American family. This picture is deceptive as well. In truth, the child in the picture is not Oschner's child and does not live in his home. His "family" is as fabricated as his rally.

Oschner certainly has a distorted view of integrity. Honesty does not appear to be part of his definition.
