A new ID

First there was the Flying Spaghetti Monster. Now there is the theory of Incompetent Design. I like it.

If nothing else, the idiocy of creationism has generated a lot of amusing discussion, some of it even serious. I would love to take a philosophy class talking about all of these issues. Just not in biology, m'kay?

I like the new Incompetent Design moniker. I NEVER use Intelligent Design, because the term tends to validate the concept. Always, always, always call it what it is: Creationism. Teach it in church. Teach it in comparitive religion or comparitive culture classes. But it is NOT science and should NEVER be taught in a science class.
