Erlandson running in primary

So Mike Erlandson is going to run in the primary for the Fifth Congressional district. Hmm. Like Rod Grams, he must have a hankerin' to lose an election.

Ugh. Mike must be sorta delusional. His BEST chance came at the DFL convention. I don't know why he thinks he can garner broad support outside of the entrenched DFL. He'll certainly be able to raise a bunch of money though.

Not that I'm a DFL purist, but I do find it sort of ironic that a former DFL chair is running against the DFL endorsed candidate. I think its indicitive of Mike E's committment to one thing--Mike E.

For Mike I think that it is hard to let go of somthing that you beleive in and have worked so hard for. I mean when you run for office you always think you are the best candidate... that is why you run in the first place. But Mike is setting a bad example being a former party chair. If you look at the district though this primary is basically the election so at least the people actually get to decide who thier Rep. is.
P.S. Sabo dropped out way to late in the process (If you look at his website it even says he is still running)
