Prediction

Katherine Kersten will write a kolumn about how Joe Lieberman's defeat in Connecticut at the hands of Ned Lamont shows that the Democrats have been taken over by left-wing crazies. She will fail to cite one single piece of evidence demonstrating that Lamont is indeed at the far left of the party, except for his belief that the U.S. needs to get out of Iraq, a belief shared by the majority of people in this country.

She will try to make this local by interviewing some local right-wing blowhard about the race.

Since she's a bit irony-deprived, my guess is she'll talk to Allen Quist about it.

If you really want to be helpful, MnPol, you could write it for her. You're familiar enough with her writing style that you could make it sufficiently acerbic and clueless.

Oh, and about all of the crap about Lieberman's Web site going down - it's even money here: about a third say he didn't pay his bill, a third say the host shut down the site because it was generating too much traffic and overloading the shared server, and a third say it was a Rovian effort by Lieberman's people to make a half-a$$ed, last-ditch attempt to discredit Lamont. As a Web contractor, I'm inclined toward the first or second option, but as a citizen of this fine country that is being systematically destroyed by the thugs and criminals in charge, I wouldn't be at all surprised if it turned out to be the latter option.

And now for a little shameless pandering: GO, NED!

MnPol!

I loved this prediction...and then I just realized that Katherine Kersten's kolume didn't show up afterall!

What's up with that?

Oh well, maybe she was hustled off to a secret Karl Rove meeting where she's getting a photo copy of her new Talking Points for the next two months.

I do love your prediction, however. Reading it, I'm thinking.."Cheezus! MnPol is almost as good as 'Madam Bushka' and her predictions over at the FruitFly blog.
