Even more about MnDOT

Seriously, I am tired of commenting on yet another article about how MnDOT has no money.

If they have no money, the should really tink about streamlining the construction projects they currently have going on. My wife, in particular, was quite perplexed to see a short stretch of a newly-widened highway paved while the existing portion was rebuilt only to learn that the newly-paved portion would have said pavement destroyed so they can pour concrete. Logical thinking in a business mind would say to build the new portion in its finished state in the first go-round as asphalt costs a small fortune these days. It's small potatoes (relatively speaking) but I am the guy who reuses paper clips at work.
