Seriously, I am tired of commenting on yet another article about how MnDOT has no money.

My wife, in particular, was quite perplexed to see a short stretch of a newly-widened highway paved while the existing portion was rebuilt only to learn that the newly-paved portion would have said pavement destroyed so they can pour concrete. Logical thinking in a business mind would say to build the new portion in its finished state in the first go-round as asphalt costs a small fortune these days. It's small potatoes (relatively speaking) but I am the guy who reuses paper clips at work.
